One 63-year-old Baltimore area man is in a heap of trouble amid allegations involving murder and domestic violence, as Justin Fenton with the Baltimore Sun reports. This man has been charged with the murder of his wife, said to have occurred during their pending divorce, while at the same time holding his girlfriend captive and bound with ropes.
The girlfriend apparently chewed through those ropes and dialed 911. She may be the same woman who had earlier filed domestic abuse charges against the 63-year-old, and a judge in that case granted a protective order for the woman.
Fenton quotes a member of the slain wife’s family:
“Right now I am getting in touch with lawyers to pursue whatever legal avenues there are. That’s all we can do. I can’t shoot him myself.”
The man now faces first-degree murder for the murder of his wife. He also faces other charges unspecified by Fenton. These other charges likely relate to his keeping the other woman captive.
